Personal Storytelling Workshop
06:30 pm BST 01:30 pm EDT
The question, ‘tell us a bit about yourself and what you do’ is one of the most dreaded questions, and yet we all have to answer it at some point in our lives, whether that be at work or at a social engagement. This is because many of us have never been taught how to introduce ourselves effectively and how to use storytelling to elevate the way we communicate. This workshop will show attendees that rather than being something to dread it is actually a fantastic opportunity to share who we are, what we stand for and what our achievements are.
This workshop will teach attendees how to create their own unique ‘elevator pitch’ so that they can confidently introduce themselves – in any situation. We will also cover how to find presence, how to improve emotional connection and how to engage with an audience.
Jess Preston is a professional Public Speaking and Communication Coach. She has worked with a number of successful senior leaders from a wide range of industries to help people find their voice and achieve the success they deserve. Jess has kindly offered to run this workshop for Wagora members.
There are 12 places available on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive a confirmation email to attend the workshop, which should arrive within 2 days of the registration. If all spaces are gone, we will add you to our waiting list and let you know.
All Wagora members are welcome to apply. If you’re not a member yet, you can do so for free.
